- Serengeti National Park: Meaning “endless plains” the Serengeti National Park is renowned as the home of over 1 million wildebeests, plain zebras and antelopes. These herbivores share a migratory ecosystem with Kenya’s Masai Mara, forming the annual Great Migration. The Serengeti also host many large predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas. Additionary, bird watchers are rewarded with over 500 bird species.
- Ngorongoro Conservation Area: It prides itself as the most scenic park in East Africa due to its large rainforest and basin. It has a diverse ecosystem that supports a wide range of animals including, huge herds of Elephants, hippos, rhinos, and wildebeests.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Nairobi-Lake Nakuru
Our driver will pick you up from the airport/hotel and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is located at the root of the Rift Valley, south of Bogoria across the equator. Arrive in time for lunch, then relax for the afternoon before going on a late afternoon game drive. Return for dinner and night rest at your camp/lodge.
Nakuru- Masai Mara
Have breakfast and then drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Geographically, the Mara is positioned at the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, which gives a spectacular wildlife experience. Arrive in time for lunch. Relax for a few hours and then go on a late-afternoon game drive.
Masai Mara – Full-day Game Drive
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a full-day game drive. This will give you an intriguing experience to view animals striving to survive in their natural habitat. Many of the big cats are tamed and seek shade under the Safari vehicle. Some even climb on top of the vehicle’s roof to gain a better view of their potential prey. For bird lovers, bring your best cameras. The Masai Mara has over 500 bird species. these include 16 eagle species, 6 vultures species, and 4 bustard species among others. This full-day drive is best highlighted by a bush picnic at lunchtime.
Masai Mara National Reserve – Open Adventure
On this day, you are free to plan your adventure. You can choose to have a morning and evening drive through the Mara. Or have a morning visit to the Masai cultural villages and then enjoy a late afternoon game drive. You are free to agree with your driver/guide on what best works for you.
Masai Mara – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart Masai Mara for the Serengeti National Park. After the border visa checkpoint, our Shanjoy driver/guide will hand you over to a partner Tanzania driver/guide for the Tanzania adventure. Have lunch on your way and proceed for dinner and overnight at the park.
Serengeti National Park – Full-Day Game Drive
On this day, you will enjoy a full-day game drive through the park. Serengeti is best known for its large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. The park also has a large number of predatory animals including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and jackals.
Serengeti – Open Day Adventure
On this day, you are free to organise with your guide. You can either opt for a full-day game drive, or early morning, relax at the hotel during the day, and then close with an evening game drive.
Serengeti- Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Game Drive
After breakfast, depart Serengeti in the morning for Ngorongoro Crater. Start a late morning game drive till late afternoon. Check into the lodge/tented camps located within the park for dinner and overnight rest.
Ngorongoro – Amboseli
After breakfast, drive to Arusha and enter the Amboseli National Park in Kenya through the Namanga border. Arrive at lunchtime. Refresh, and relax as you await the evening game drive to the Park. Full board accommodation Kilima Camp Amboseli.
Amboseli National park – Full-Day Game Drives
After breakfast, go for a full-day game drive through the park. Have dinner and rest for the night.
Amboseli- Nairobi
This is the final day of the 11-Day Classic Kenya &Tanzania Safari. After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi with drop-off at the hotel/airport.

Day 1: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru
The Safari begins with an early morning pick-up from the hotel to Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is located at the root of the Rift Valley, south of Bogoria across the equator. Lake Nakuru is famously known for the thousands of flamingoes that line its shores, giving the lake a pinky plumage. Lake Nakuru National Park is also a rhino sanctuary, hosting over 60 white and 40 black rhinos. The Greatly endangered Rothschild Giraffes also found sanctuary here. Arrive in time for lunch, then relax for the afternoon before going on a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and an overnight stay at your camp or lodge are included.
Nakuru- Masai Mara
Have breakfast and then drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The Masai Mara offers a spectacular wild experience where animals roam freely in its plains and forests. Geographically, the Mara is positioned at the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem. This sees it host the spectacular annual Wildebeest migration. Arrive in time for lunch. Relax for a few hours and then go on a late-afternoon game drive.

Ngorongoro - Amboseli
After breakfast, drive to Arusha and enter the Amboseli National Park in Kenya through the Namanga border. Covering an area of 392 km2, the Amboseli has a mixed topography of plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps, and marshes. This diversity, combined with the excellent view of Mount Kilimanjaro, creates a perfect stage to view the game in their natural habitat.

Amboseli- Nairobi
This is the final day of the 11-Day Classic Kenya &Tanzania Safari. After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at the hotel or airport.
